I know it's almost been a month since NYFW, but better later that never, right? In this post I would like to share with you my first experience with this event. If you read my previous post, you already know that it was awesome, but I will tell you everything in details.
I will start with saying that I was fortunate to receive an invitation to great shows, and I got introduced to new designers. Special thank you to Nolcha Shows for inviting me to all of their shows. Due to a busy schedule I just had a chance to visit All Comes From Nothing Show by Eva Yiwel Xu, and Luyang by Yanglu, you can see these collections and many more on nolchashows.com and amp3pr. com
Had a chance to see Katie Gallagher presentation Rain. Collection itself and rain spec-effect was amazing, everything was thought to a small detail. You can check her collection on www.katiegallagher.com.
The highlight of the Fashion Week for me was visiting Banana Republic presentation. Not sure was it seeing a bus full of photographers, protestors who tried to sabotage the show or meeting Olivia Palermo and Johannes Huebl, but all of that left a strong impression. If you interested, collection is available in store and online Banana republic x Olivia Palermo.
NYFW isn't just about runway shows and presentations, it's also about parties. I am a member of a StyleCollective group and attended their party. It was a lot of fun meeting 300 bloggers from all over the country. If you are a blogger I recommend you to sign up and learn a lot of useful information on blogging at stylecollective.us
So all of these I fit in two days. Yes, just two days. It was a lot of running between hotel and venus, changing outfits and ordering Uber/Lyft (I had to download two apps to see which is cheaper, so I wouldn't get bankrupt). Still I'm so happy to experienced it! I'm not a pro, but if you have any questions on how to get an invite or places to stay in NYC, send me an e-mail: styledbylesia@gmail.com.
