On Saturday we celebrated my daughter's 6 birthday. Since last year due to the quarantine we couldn't celebrate with friends and family I decided to do something special for her this year. It took me a long time to decide on specifics and even took longer to find things I had in mind. That's why I want to share with you my finds, in hope that it will save you time once you are planning your party.

The highlight of the party was a bouncy house. For a long time, Eva wanted to celebrate her birthday in a trampoline park. Our friends were not ready to return to a public place like that, so I decided to rent a bouncy house. I'm so glad I found Busy Bee Jumpers, they have tons of options and the service is five stars. I went with Wet or Dry Module Combo, with Happy Birthday banner, they also have Disney characters banners, in case it goes with your theme. Plus you can rent games, popcorn, and cotton candy machines. I got a Popcorn machine and can't recommend it enough, both kids and adults enjoyed warm buttery popcorn very much. Next time will definitely try the cotton candy machine as well.

The theme of the party was horses because my daughter loves Spirit cartoon and riding horses. That's why when I found this banner on Amazon I thought it will be a perfect backdrop for the photos. It would work perfectly stuck to the wall but we made it work by putting on the string and tying it to the trees. Material is of good quality and it didn't rip.

This was my first time doing balloon arch of this proportion and even though I'm happy with the result I don't miss the process. It took me 3-4 hours and I'm so glad I didn't cheap out and bought an electric balloon pump. Honestly, it's not hard to make it just takes time, and the kit that I got had everything I needed.
(I also had another kit so I added a few balloons in)
(If you are doing your own balloon arch, you definitely need an electric pump)
I love to have a lot of flowers at any party so I went to Trader Joe's, bought a lot of flowers and made my own bouquets. All the vases and the majority of the table decor I picked up at Hobby Lobby.

These were our favor bags, forgot to take a good photo at the party. Kids loved them and they came in a mix of three colors.
On the menu, we had pizza, since it's my daughter's favorite food. I also had a lot of appetizers and was especially proud of my charcuterie board. I used three types of cheese: Havarti, manchego, goat cheese; for the deli: two types of salami, prosciutto, capocollo; crackers, and decorated with fresh fruits: blueberries, strawberries, blackberries, oranges.
Overall the party was great and my daughter really enjoyed herself. I'm still recovering though.
If you have any questions let me know, I would be glad to help.
