Oh, how I missed fashion week! During events like this, I truly feel like I'm following my dream. I'm excited about everything: fashion, energy, people! With that said I'm so thankful to Rosanna Ortiz, founder, and president of StyleWeek Northeast, for making StyleWeek 2021 happen. Even though it was a Micro event that was held on June 10th at the Capital Grille in Providence, RI, you wouldn't want to miss it.
The night started with a cocktail hour and everyone had a chance to see SEED Student Art Display with The Grace School. Then everyone sat down for a SEED Student Design Challenge with The Lincoln School. The famous designers of the night were Lalla Bee and Jess Abernethy. This is not the first collection I saw by these talented designers and hopefully not the last. Lalla Bee impressed us with flowery print, and the yellow pantsuit was a show stopper. Jess Abernethy surprised us with a mix of green, pink and white colors and it looked very good.

Lately, I've been wearing neutrals, but with the start of summer, I wanted to spice things up. For my outfit, I choose a flower print blue dress and a hot pink blazer. My purse was so small I only fit my keys and credit card in it, and I wore it as a belt bag. The best part it's trendy and only $17, so I wouldn't feel guilty when I give it to my daughter to play with. Overall I liked my outfit and my friends were surprised to see me in such a vibrant color.
